Accounting Minor
Accounting is a system for developing and communicating information needed for economic
decision-making. Accounting is often termed “the language of business.” Its purpose
is to provide decision makers with information regarding the economic status and activity
of individuals, business organizations and government agencies. In business, accounting
information is used for investment decisions, evaluating management, negotiation with
management and levying taxes.
The accounting minor is comprised of 18 hours.
