Investment Club

The William Woods Student Investment Club exists to further its members' knowledge of the various investment methods and strategies in a diverse and conducive club environment. It seeks to engage members in intellectual discourse via presentations, panel discussions, guest speakers, and other mediums while fostering a positive social environment for networking and fun.

The purpose of the William Woods Student Investment Club is to:

  • To increase awareness in the field of business relating to investments
  • To further its members’ knowledge of the various investment methods and strategies in a diverse and conducive club environment
  • To achieve a thorough understanding of career opportunities available to students via presentation, panel discussion, guest speakers, and other mediums
  • To provide real-world investment opportunities by maintaining a portfolio for future club members

Members will meet on a regular basis to invest in a diversified portfolio using Stock-Trak as an online program to track return on investments.
