Social Work @ The Woods

The Bachelor in Social Work B.S.W. prepares students for the beginning level of generalist social work practice and graduate social work education. With a strong liberal arts foundation and student centered approach to learning, social work students are able to integrate the knowledge, values, and skills of the profession. Students are prepared to work with diverse and vulnerable populations representing individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. The expectation is that students understand themselves and the populations they serve from a global perspective, and that they see themselves as professionals who have a responsibility to be life long learners.
