What are your career plans?

I worked at Helping Hands Daycare over the summer and I want to interpret in the school setting or with an agency.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I came for Interpreting and fell in love with the small campus and the genuineness of people.

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?

What has been your favorite class here so far?

Intro to Rhetoric. I had the best group for my group projects in that class. We always dressed up for our presentations and we ended our semester with a group date at Starbucks and the Magic Tree in Columbia.

What has been your favorite LEAD event?

I really enjoy the international film series. I go with one of my sorority sisters all the time and we become highly invested in every film.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

That I would take a while to get adjusted here.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about you?

I really am a fun person. Even though I am quiet, I do like to have fun.

Have you ever had a fun nickname?

In middle school, my friends called me Squishy because I was super thin and they thought it was ironic.

What is your favorite thing in your room here?

My kitten, Daisy!

What is your favorite spot on campus?

The basement of the Library. It is my favorite place to study or read or just be around books.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

How much the professors genuinely care about me and my education.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

Living away from my family for the first time.

What is one word your friends would use to describe you?

What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

I really enjoy when I have breaks between classes and I can sit outside and read.

Who is your favorite faculty or staff member?

Carrie McCray. She is one of the Delta Gamma advisors and she is willing to speak with us about anything. It doesn’t matter if I am stressed or just want to talk, I can go to Carrie and she is willing to help and listen.

What is your superpower?

I can speak to cats.
