What are your career plans?

I want to be a neurosurgeon.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I enjoy the small feel and financial aid is great

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?


What has been your favorite class?

Biomedical Ethics with Bob Scott. The class I had was only six people and it was more of a learning experience more than a lecture. He would sit down with us and we would have an adult conversation about controversial medical issues, with everyone’s opinion taken into account.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

I think the beauty of William Woods is coming to find the answers for yourself. The school offers such a nurturing environment; you really do not need to know anything before you come in.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about you?

I DJ in my free time.

What is your favorite thing in your room?

My blackout curtains.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

I might be biased but my fraternity. Love everyone in the house.

Where do you like to study?

I really enjoy studying in the library. I like being around other people. When I study, I try and listen to classical music so I am not distracted by any words.

What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?

This year I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so my weekday is very laid back. I like to get all my homework done for the week on Wednesdays, so I have the rest of the week to relax.

What is your favorite place in Fulton?

Bek’s – they have great food.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

How accepting everyone at William Woods is.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

Making sure you go to class every day. It really does make a huge difference whether you go to class or not, even though you think you can skip.

What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

Alumni Weekend…every year.
