What are your career plans?

I want to go in either the direction of marine biology or the Department of Conservation.

Why did you come to William Woods?

I came for volleyball, but on my visit I fell in love with the tight-knit community and the friendly faces. I loved how easy it was going to be to make personal connections with people.

What is one word you’d use to describe William Woods?

Homie (it’s like a home away from home)

What has been your favorite class?

My favorite class has been Vertebrate Zoology. I am a huge animal lover and love learning about the different types of animals and what makes them unique.

What has been your favorite LEAD event?

I really enjoyed the Chicago Boyz and the Fit to Fat to Fit speaker. These were both shows that I have watched on television, so it was awesome to see and listening to them in person.

What’s one thing you wish you had known when you first started at William Woods?

I wish I had known to bring a rain coat and rain boots because it is not fun to walk around in soaked tennis shoes and clothes all day.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about you?

That I am super family oriented. My family is everything to me and I feel as I have gotten older that I miss them more each year.

Have you ever had a fun nickname?

A lot of my friends just call me B

What is your favorite thing in your room here and why?

All of my pictures of my friends and family from back home because sometimes I start to miss them a lot.

What is your favorite spot on campus and why?

I love sitting by the lake on a nice sunny afternoon

Where do you like to study? Do you have any favorite study tips/habits?

I like to study outside on a really nice day or in my room on a rainy day. Making note cards is a great study habit or color code your notes (yes I’m a nerd in that sense)

What is a typical weekday like for you at William Woods?

Lift, class, practice, homework, with maybe a Chi Omega function or LEAD point in the evening.

What is your favorite place in Fulton?

The animal shelter; I love going there and seeing the new puppies or kittens that have come in.

What has surprised you the most about going to school at William Woods?

How much the professors are willing to help you out on not just homework, but also helping you find a possible internship or job that you may want.

What has been the most challenging part of college?

Finding time to fit everything in. With a busy schedule like mine, I have to use my time wisely and give up on social activities in order to get more important things done.

What is one word your friends would use to describe you?

What is your favorite memory of your time here at William Woods so far?

I have so many, but one of my most favorite was Bid Day at the Chi Omega house. Running out of Burton to meet all my new sisters was the most exciting day I’ve had.

Who is your favorite faculty or staff member?

Dr. Robin Hirsch-Jacobson — he makes class so fun and entertaining.

What is your superpower?

Being involved in so much while keeping up with my studies.
